sooo...i live in st. augustine now. i've been here since last sunday (the 15th). i work at starbucks on the island. so far i like it. it's nice to finally be out on my own and totally support myself. i just need more friends cause i don't have anyone to hang out with. :(
i like my new store alot. the people there are cool and i definitely make considerably more money there.
i also love being so much closer to stephanie. it's so nice to finally be able to spend more time with her and feel like a "real" couple, versus feeling like we're in a long distance relationship.
other than fighting some minor anxiety...everything is great!
saturday is my 22nd birthday! some partying will go down, i'm sure.

here's a little life update...
it has become official, as of yesterday, that i am definitely moving to st. augustine in the middle of january. i am transferring starbuck's stores to the one on A1A at the beach.
there are several reasons for doing so...i will be 22 years old on january 28th and i feel like that is just alittle too old to be still living with my parents. i mean, hell, i'm not going to school or anything. i just work and play music right now. plus, i'd like to say i moved out at 21...not 22, haha.
i just need to start my life, i'm tired of complaining about stuff and not being happy with where i am. i really want to be closer to stephanie as well.
i'll still be driving to jax alot. i still have band practice in jax twice a week, so i'll be around.

alright people...i need help.
i am seriously starting to teach drum lessons. if any of you know anyone that would be interested, or even want to learn yourself, pleasseee let me know!
i will be charging $25 per 30 minute lesson ($100 a month - 1 lesson per week). i will actually be driving to the person's house. beginner-intermediate drummers only please! i don't want to bore people with theory and sheet music (even though i will be incorporating it, because you need to know some of it). i will be mainly teaching people to just rock out on the set and develop their talents the right way.
i am very serious about this, as in it will slowly become my full time job, so please ask around if you think you know someone who might be interested. a sibling? friend? parent? yourself? let me know! :)
oh yeah, and i got hit by a crazy drunk driver last night. they hit me and left. how lovely! |

R.I.P. Rosa Parks ... i wish more people would blatantly spit in the face of the unjust
i'm so happy cold weather is currently here. this is my favorite time of the year! (that rhymed?) i have quite a few things that i will be working on in the near future.
i'm seriously considering moving up north if my hostage doesn't go anywhere (which hopefully it will). i have lived in jacksonville for roughly 15 of my 21 years. i want to experience another place for at least a few years. i love jacksonville alot, but i think it will help me grow to be alone in a new city.
i really want to get this drum teaching thing going so i can do that. i will make alot more money and my life will be much more enjoyable.
i can't believe we have lost 2,000 lives over this crap in iraq. i can't believe bush has let so many innocent people die over this obvious mistake. i can't stand bush. i can't stand the people who run this country. what else could you expect from a country who will give someone who kills another person a lesser prison sentence than someone who is caught with marijuana. this country is full of BS cover-ups and lies. we are lied to on a daily basis and it sucks...

well, back from tour. today was my first day back to work, pretty much sucks.
3 things to discuss this post:
1: i'm making scarves for people starting now. i can do any colors, different thicknesses, different patterns (stripes, mixed colors, etc.). i can make them all customized, no problem. 2 color scarves will be around $20-25. i can make them extremely fast and they are really well made, no joke! why buy a mass produced GAP scarf when you can own a one-of-a-kind? inquire if you are interested.
2: i am going to start teaching beginner-intermediate drum lessons as well. i'm not going to bore people with rudiments and marching band snare crap. i wanna teach rock drum lessons. $25 a lesson for 30 minutes and i drive to your house! if you or anyone you know is interested, let me know!

well...i'm in atlanta recording our album, i'll be home tomorrow evening.
the recording has gone absolutely amazing and 10 times better than i ever thought it would go. i can't wait to get this album out. i'll have a couple unmastered songs for my friends to hear...so just ask if you're interested.
anchors away is playing a-town tonight. it will be nice to see some friends from home.
there are so many things i'm looking forward to in the future...yet it stresses me out all at the same time. very confusing feeling.
